Sorry - trying to install the drivers for the 6100 on Windows 7 and the message drivers do not support this version of windows - any ideas please?

You can download the Windows 7 drivers for your machine from Canon's site.

Thanks John - any chance you can run me through it please? I type in Op syst - windows 7, Language - English, press submit?

There are the 15 options, do I click on the first one to start off with?

I would download and install option 1. Device Setup Utility for Windows (32/64bit) (v4.20). This should give you the necessary drivers to allow the computer to talk to your printer.

I'm guessing from the descriptions that the 14 remaining items are optional, just download and install the ones that you need, if any.

Struggling on this one, I've downloaded the W7 64bit drivers three or 4 times (90Mb at 40KB /sec) but nothing appaears to happen thereafter. I'll wait until monday and contact the supplier i think.

By Jove I've done it! Sincere thanks John for pointing me in the right direction, I was getting despondant to say the least and I don't really know what I did different but I've printed my first thing on the printer.Jan-i-i-s!, get the eggs on please!
