Does anyone use their scrap mountboard to cut corner protectors for when work is completed?
The ones you can buy only suit certain frame thicknesses.
I'm guessing the design can't be too difficult and it is something I have been meaning to do for ages. Has anyone with a Valiani got a file they would be prepared to share?
Otherwise it is a new year task.

i do it with my gunnar sometimes
but dont use mountboard, it doesnt fold well
I bought some packaging cardboard sheets from a local packaging company at 1 euro a sheet and cut them out of it, also do boxes out of it as its white faced on one side

What shape do you cut? I was thinking of doing a V Groove at the fold lines.
Re: Cutting Corner Protectors with CMC
i do a deboss for corners
there is a standard template in GMC (gunnar software) for making them
vgroove i found was too much, and when you fold the outside cracks and then the whole thing becomes a bit weak

Takes to long and is fidly, you may as well cut a box or better still use ready made protectors. I buy two sizes from lion wich covers most eventualities plus I have those blue polystyrene edge protectors in 2 sizrs. What you save in materials you waste in time.

Thanks Alan
I will draw that shape using the Valiani software and see how it goes.
