New Valiani software

Post by China shop »

I was away last week when the new Valiani software training day was on. Did any of you attend and if so are you getting to grips with it OK?

Hi there,

I went up to Simons, very good day, my software arrived this week, at the moment I'm running both software, using the new one to cut new designs, while I use the older one for my older designs. As with all new software, it takes a while to get used to, slightly different ways of working, but I think it is a GREAT improvement on the old software  .

Ask me again in a couple of months

I've got both loaded on our Future machine, but we're still using the old software at this point.

I noted that we have some viewing issues on our monitor? What size monitor screen do you use and what resolution setting. I'm thinking that the new software appears to be optimized for an expanded wide monitor?

I'm running both as the new software can not cut some of my designs :xcomputer: , but my new designs will be done for the new software.

As to screen resolution

Minimum is 1280x768

Recommended 1680x1050

mine is 1440x900 with no problems on a 19 inch monitor
