Mystery Object

Post by birdman »

I have had my mystery object around the workshop for years and it has travelled with us through two change of premises. Problem is I have no idea what it is but I don't want to throw it away in case it is an important doofer dingle!

Does anyone else have one and know what it is?

That looks like the little suction cup thing that you attach to a halogen bulb so that you can then change it without touching it with your fingers. That's my guess anyway :D

Great answer and thanks to everyone who made suggestions, although some were not quite what I expected but I have to tip my hat to you Tudor Rose :-)

As for JM and his photo, glad I didn't post a photo of two together because goodness knows what would have been suggested. They have a hole in the end piece, maybe for attaching the tassels?

Now that is something I can do without thinking about. You dressed in rubber at a strip joint!
