Hello, I hope someone is able to help...
I use the IMNES M3 foot operated underpinned and have found that the nails are not driving all the way in. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it might be or how I can fix it?
Regards,
Victoria

Re: Underpinner problem - help please
I've never used one of these particular underpinners but it looks to be a similar construction to a Euro pinner we had when we started out.
I can only think that either the top clamp pressure isn't great enough, the mouldings too hard or there's something wrong with the mechanism that pushes the pins in. I presume you've tried phoning Lion?

I don’t have any knowledge of your particular underpinner
But on mine you can adjust how much it pushes in the wedges had to take a side panel off to access it.
I had the opposite problem the pin that pushes the wedges was actually pushing it to hard and lifting the moulding so much that the moulding was getting damaged against the top clamp

Might be worth chatting to someone at Lion PFS as they are stockists for the INMES brand. Their technical advisers are usually very helpful.
Phone number for them is 0121 773 1230.

Re: Underpinner problem - help please
Thank you for all of your help - The nails are now driving in fully, after adjusting clamp height but the nails are going in at an angle and therefore, one corner sticks out.
Anymore ideas?? much appreciated - thank you.

Does it do the same on all mouldings?
