Adjusting a cassesse 939

Does anyone have a description of how to adjust/set up a cassesse 939 double headed mitre saw?
I’m starting from scratch,I’ve set the fences to cut as best I can to 45 degrees, and cutting a wide moulding from a length I can produce a pretty good frame, however, cutting four sides from off-cuts produced a frame with a gap on the outside. Which fence should I adjust (I assume the right one) and which end do I adjust? I’ve tried and failed!
