bronzing powders

Please can someone advise what product they use to mix with standard roberson bronze powders as a binder

Then can be mixed with just about anything that will dry into a sturdy film. Rabbit skin glue, acrylics, oils, varnishes, lacquers, wax, etc.

Or, first apply a thin coat of 3hour gold size - not the acrylic stuff. Paint some on, then drying your brush each time with a clean rag, remove as much of the size as possible and leave for 3+ hours until knuckle dry. Then brush on the bronze powder. The trick is to leave as thin a layer of gold size as is possible.
