A4 metallic gold inkjet printer paper & optically clear film

Post by daveym »

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a good quality metallic gold or just anything that resembles a shiney high quality gold finish on A4 that can run through an inkjet durabrite printer.

Additionally, and more importantly, I'm wondering if there are any A4 printable sheets of optically clear film that can also run through an inkjet printer. I've seen rolls of this type of film costing over £150.00 but ideally looking for A4 sheets in small quantities to test first. I'm looking to place a printed design on a clear film and place it behind glass in a frame which will then overlay onto something printed onto the gold metallic paper behind the film, hence why I require both. I've tried printing onto various clear acetate types of film ranging from inkjet OHP film and also clear adhesive sticker films but both are far too reflective once they are placed behind the glass and do not give off the finish I'm looking for as it's far too glossy.

If anyone could point me in the direction of 1 or both the above I would really appreciate it. thanks.
