Depending on the shape, the best way is to get some cheapo moulding and spray it with a rattle can of
auto paint. The metallics are available in a huge range. I think you can get pearly paint....

you can get pearlescent or glitter vinyl, you can vinyl wrap the moulding before cutting to lenght , I would over cut each length by and 2cm ,then wrap the moulding then cut to finished length

Might seem expencive, but the roll are around 60cm wide so on a 90x90 cm frame you could easily cover for less than a tenner + P&P

This is some vinyl I applied to some moulding around 12 months ago, it's still on there and looking fine, I think that you could do the same with pearlescent or glitter vinyl and it would work

Wow, that looks stunning, Steve

I've looked at the MDP web site and there are some great vinyls there. I assume you apply it to bare wood mouldings but is it easy to apply? I can envisage getting air bubbles or creases in it.

I applied that to a finished moulding, that one was one of the PRAGUE range from Simmons, I used a finished on as the finish is nice and smooth, the vinyl is less than a 1mm thick , so need a good finish otherwise the grain would show
