Discontinued moulding, can you help!!

Post by emsamandbee »

Hi! My name is Emily Gibson. I'm just getting back into framing after a house move and break. I do it from a workshop at home. I've been asked to frame a lovely oil painting. I fell into the trap of showing a moulding to my client which is discontinued (I thought I had enough)! Ashworth and Thompson no longer do this in 'Terracotta' The grey version is AT 6301.1110. I'd be so grateful if anyone could help I feel like such a muppet. I'm having trouble trying to attach a photo but maybe I'm not allowed to?

I'd be grateful for any advice. Lovely client and can easily discuss and find alternative but thought I'd just explore all options first. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Hugh here from Ashworth & Thompson. 6301.1120 is the terracotta colour in the 6301 range. It's discontinued here I'm afraid although I hope this photo helps with the search for the moulding. Good luck!

Hugh

Does it have to be that exact colour?

Quality wood have a similar profile in a few colours.

Here's the link, it's available on chop too.
