Hi,

I have a cheap 24 litre compressor that I bought from Machine Mart. It's not a low noise compressor, but the noise is not much anyway and if the noise bothers you all that much, it's hugely cheaper to buy a nice long air line and locate the compressor somewhere future away from where you need to work.

Bought a Bambi BB24D a while ago to run my underpinner and a couple of air tools. Very impressed - really well made machine and more than up to the job. Shop around on the internet and you should be able to find a good deal.

Bambi bb24 for me too. I use it to run underpinner and stapler/nailer etc.

Any 24 litre compressor will be fine. It just won't be silent, but it will work well. I have an sgs 6 litre compressor which i use when i am out on a site with nail guns and it only cost £70. I chuck it in the back of my truck and it seems well made. SGS do a 24 litre for £85 inc VAT.
