height of minigraf 4?

Post by esther-cg »

Hi framers,

I'm in the process of re-designing my workshop and buying in new equipment. I'm hoping to get a minigraf 4 and build a worktop around it, but need to know the height of the flat surface of the machine before I go confirming any figures. Do they even come on stands? And if so are they adjustable?

Thanks in advance :)

I would suggest that the height of your table is the most important detail. For me a comfortable working height is 100cms. My underpinner height is 92cms, so it is on 8cms blocks.
The minigraf 4 does come as a unit without a stand, 130mm high which could be built into the workbench (no I can't find the stand height either).
For the sake of your back, have a look at a few work bench heights and see which feels best for you. I stand up for most of the day, any lower than right would hurt after a while!
