Fine Art Trade Guild Logo

Post by Hoyvangen »

I have just received in for re-framing a couple of Peter Scot prints created in the 1940's They each bear an embossed Fine Art Trade Guild logo and I have attached an image of one of the embossed logos. I am unable to find any info on the Fine Art Trade Guild website about this particular style of logo and what it means. Can anyone help? Thanks

Can't really help but there is some info on the FATG website just in case you missed it?

There is a Sir Peter Scott listed so the FATG can give you some info but it will cost £15 + vat

Thanks David, I had seen that page but it didn't explain the format of FATG logo I have come across. Looks like my customer will need to shell out £15 to find out more! Thanks for you help.
