Aluminium frame suppliers

Hi all

I have always ordered my Alu frames from Nielsen. Just placed an order only to discover the attached profile (246) is disco'd in this colour (Myrtle)

Any suggestions for either an alternative supplier for this, or failing that, an alternative Alu moulding in this green or very similar.

Depending on how much you use and if you cut them yourself, rather than 'Chop', there is a company in Ireland (or there was, not used them for over 13 years) called MI Metals

Rose & Hollis stock and supply aluminium frames on chop if needed. They have Larson-Juhl and Nielsen so it might be worth asking if they have that particular one in stock still.

We've found over the last year or so that Wessex often had Nielsen mountboard colours in stock when Nielsen didn't. Got us out of a hole quite a few times. It may be the same with the metal chop mouldings from R&H. Certainly worth an ask.

Thank you. R&H look promising, esp as I order chop for Alu.
Will give them a call in the morning.

Good to know about Wessex re mount board.
I do have an account with them, but not ordered in years.

No worries... I hadn't looked at Alu from Lion recently either. Totally surprised to see how little they had.
