hi all
i dug my old logan team system out the out day to practice.Sharp blade, firm surface,
firm pressure, could i cut consistantly accurate mounts? no.I put it down to bad technique
its the start of the cut wich gives the most trouble.Ive read some folk swear by hand cutters,
im swearing at mine! any tips

Always use a scrap piece of mountboard underneath mount to be cut.

If it's at the start of the cut it might be a hooking issue? Are you sure your blade depth is set correctly? Do you have any photos of the cuts?

thanks for replies and advice ,i dont own a device for uploading photos,
old school,but i must get one! i was 'hooking' as the blade was set too deep,
something i overlooked , thanks again
