Hello! This is my first post to the forum, and I'm looking for some help in keeping a poster aligned within a larger frame.
Currently, my problem is that after some time, the poster will slide down and become off-kilter. Attached are front and back pictures of what I have.
I'm guessing it's because the poster isn't flush enough to the frame, that air or whatnot gets in, but I want to avoid gluing or taping the poster to the back paper if possible. Any ideas are welcome!

It dosen't help having the hangers on the backing board, pulling it away from the glazing, but it would still slip anyway, you're asking it to defy gravity and you can only apply pressure in a frame like that, at the extremities, where the bendy tabs are.
Photo corners would solve your immediate problem but at a professional level a lot more and a lot better would be recommended, for starters it's not good to have things against the glass, due to the potential of condenstation, not to mention abrasion, but if the glazing is plexiglass, condensation may not be an issue. I'd still recommend changing the backing paper to mount board, fixing hangers and wire to the frame itself (unless the screws would split the wood, or whatever material it may be) and sealing the back up with good quality tape.

Re: How to prevent poster from slipping inside of frame
Everything JKX told you is correct.
The only DIY way of you fixing this problem is to add some glue points to the art-work and fix it to the backing paper.
I know you don't want to use glue but what if you use the same basic method that museums use to mount often priceless artwork.
Mix up some Wheat Starch Paste and add two small dabs to each of the top corners.
Let dry and re-frame your artwork.
This is TOTALLY reversible - just add a little water to release the glue.
You can Google how to make Wheat Starch Paste, flour and water.
It's the same as making custard or sauce.

Photo corners AKA photo pockets are a none-adhesive (in direct contact with artwork) method.
There is nothing to reverse, the print simply slides in or out of the pocket.
