hi all
is there a tool for this screw or is it just a pair of pliers to loosen?
both are jammed and i didnt want to damage the knurling if there is a tool

novice i know!!

That's an Allen Key screw.
Most hardware shops will sell you a set, usually on a key-ring.
Just pop the one, the right size, into the centre hole and turn. Might be tight but little or no chance of damaging the screw.

A squirt or two with WD-40 would help. :D

i thought it was too round to be an allen key,
