Struggling with a large poster.

Post by DEEPJOY »

Hi All

I have a poster 1525mm X835mm. Anyone got any ideas re mounting this and would you suggest acrylic for the glazing? I perhaps would be better to sub it out to someone who ca press it in a the largest hot press or through a roller set up as I have neither, well not that big anyway. I have a small roller set up (Jetmount 26) and a HGP-260 which is not large enough to bond the poster down. Any recommendation IM in the midlands ST5 6BX.

Hinge it around a jumbo mountboard? Hinges tight at the top and a little loose bottom and sides with spacers.
Three mm glass is fine if you don't mind the weight or acrylic at a higher cost. Priced one up like this recently, customer was happier with the extra weight, we estimated around 12 kg all in, rather than the additional cost for acrylic.
