I can't remember them. I need help. Please sort. I have posted my question over 3 times. I have a slight "ding" to a finished black frame. I'm currently soaking it. Any advice. Sorry if this isnt' posted in the correct place but site not working. I need this sorted by tomorrow.

Hi. Not too clear on what the problem is. What’s a ding? If you mean a slight indentation have you tried applying steam to the area. This works with raw wood indentations. You can hold the offending area over the steaming kettle and it may resolve itself.

Yes, slight indentation. But it's a black finished frame. Should I pierce a hole through the finish and try and apply hot water underneath?

Have you tried applying steam directly onto the moulding. I wouldn’t be piercing any holes in it and I’m not sure what effect water will have other than adding to the problem by causing the wood to swell uncontrollably.

…seems to happen when posting a New Topic, not when replying to a topic.

I've had no end of issues since coming back in here in the last couple of weeks. I've written multiple new topics and as soon as I click to create it I'm logged out and have lost everything written. I've wasted countless amounts of time. Recently when I have written any new topics I have resorted to copying anything written for fear of losing it, then repasting once I've been logged out and logged in again. If I need to edit any part of the topic I'm also logged out again.

I've also had to ask for a new password and got sent a random long password. When I go into change my password and create a new password I'm logged out again and it doesn't accept my new password nor does it accept the original password so I'm having to request a new password and keep a random mix of letters that is impossible to remember. I'm sure this must be putting off a lot of people as I can't be the only person.

Ive sent a message to forum owners and not got any response as far as I'm aware.
