FATG edition codes.

Post by Roboframer »

Years ago some publishers used to have their prints FATG stamped with the logo & 3 letters, the letters tell you the edition size and print number.

A signed Russell Flint has just been brought in for a re-frame and the letters are CBB.

I used to have a chart to decode these letters, has anyone got one?

Not trying to point out the obvious here but have you tried ringing the guild?

Cheers!

I knew the guild would be able to tell me but I didn't think it would be on their website as the system isn't in use any more. (?)

Poor lady thinks its No 1 - I'll tell her I couldn't find any info!

Thanks again.

Its of no significance any more , but I'm interested as to why they used this code and not the actual number?
