Greetings

Post by Glimpse » Mon 09 Sep, 2013 2:53 pm

Hello everyone, I'm in the process of researching and acquiring equipment to set up a workshop at the moment. I have a graphic design and illustration business and already have a small customer base that I'd like to expand on. So although it will start off as a small scale operation, I'm hoping it will grow in future, so I'm prepared to invest in the most suitable equipment.
Reading this forum has been a huge help in terms of pointing me in the right direction, I'm just waiting for the right equipment within a reasonable distance, so if anyone is looking at selling a Morso F and good quality underpinner (or any other items) in the North West I'd be very interested to hear from you.
I'd also be very grateful for any further information/resources that may be of help to me, and I hope you'll all be patient and friendly when I start making a nuisance of myself asking dumb questions!

Cheers
Glimpse.

Welcome Glimpse :D

As a newbie I would suggest you let your local distributors know you are looking for 2nd hand machinery

They will know better than most who is closing down or selling .

Lancashire ? try Wessex - depots in L'pool and Oldham for starters
I have visited framers in 83 countries - no two are the same.

Hi Keith, thanks for the information, that's not a bad idea! I'll certainly get in touch with them and see if they can be of assistance.

Cheers! :D
