Hi greetings from the south west of Devon = help or advice p

Hi greetings from the south west of Devon = help or advice please about Cassese Cs 89 underpinner
I have been interested in painting as is all my family and have been looking for a change of direction from 35 years of landscape gardening .
So I have started training my self to frame at a small workshop nearby and have been amazed how much there is to learn about the art of framing
I have just bought some framing equipment that has been lying in a shed for a couple of years a morso , keen cut etc which after cleaning oiling works fine
and a Cassese Cs 89 underpinner which is driving me mental :xcomputer:
it puts the nails in fine but keeps blowing the safety switch and leaking from the micro switch . http://theframersforum.com/posting.php?mode=post&f=34#
Does anyone know about these things
Anyone knows a retired Cassese Cs 89 underpinner repairer with cheap time on his hands
is there anyone who repairs these locally
at worse can I convert it to be a manual underpinner
should I sell it and get a manual one
i will be so grateful for your advice

I would be interested to know if there’s anyone else in my area interested in framing nr Exeter === Tipton st john = Sidmouth = Exmouth

Hi and welcome to the forum

Quite a few Devon based framers on here. We are in Dawlish so not too far away from you.

Hi Nigel,

Welcome to the forum. I'm based in Bovey Tracey. As Tudor Rose has already said, there are a good many framers in Devon and I think that we are all friendly as well. I hope that you enjoy the forum.

Hi! Welcome to the art of framing! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I'm based near Newton Abbot at Seale-Hayne so do pop in and say hello sometime. We're a friendly bunch as I hope you'll fine. Best wishes to you.
