Hello from France

Post by Verdigris » Fri 12 Jun, 2015 9:50 am

Hi everyone, I'm an artist living in France. I've been framing my own work for years, but recently have found a lot of my suppliers have stopped stocking the frames that I have used, so will be on here looking for new ideas, and maybe some help with stockists.

Bienvenue Jenny :o

I know most of the distributors in France

If you post a picture of what you are unable to buy maybe one of us can help you by suggesting a possible supplier

Good luck with your framing ambitions
I have visited framers in 83 countries - no two are the same.

Thanks Keith! :D

One staple I used was a veneered moulding called hockey stick, I think - it was stocked by Arqadia and Simons, but has been discontinued. It was perfect for small portraits.
Not sire how to post a photo - do I need a photobucket account?

Jenny
Always helps others if you also give dimensions
Width, Height and Rebate.

So you are based down in southern France but buy from UK
Doesn't say much for the French distributors :o
