Hola from Spain!

Post by Johno »

Hello , I'm Johno, retired and living on the Costa Blanca, with enough kit to keep me busy in my leisure hours doing framing as a hobby. Sourcing materials is my challenge, I know I can import from the UK but freight costs are more than the material costs. I like searching for old frames to recycle, and have a reasonable stock of mountboards, but would appreciate any advice on sourcing everything - my immediate need is for foamboard/backing board. Many thanks for all responses. Cheers!

Hola Johno,
I suggest you contact Javier Herranz in Leganes, just south of Madrid
They make mount boards and foam boards and deliver all over Spain.
Herranz are also the Spanish distributors for Valiani, Alfa, Keencut and Morso and a heap of other items
And have a big stock of re-conditioned machines.
A real nice company to deal with

Sarah speaks English if you need

Best of luck with your framing ambitions

I have visited distributors and framers in 90 countries - no two are the same.
