Hello from Liverpool

Post by BeatnikFraming »

Hello all

I started my business about a year ago, still early days but I'm hoping to make a living in this picture framing lark. I've been reading this board for a while and find it really helpful so thought I'd say hello! I have some quesions too so I'm heading off to post for some advice in a second! My website is www.beatnikframing.co.uk :)

Hi Pete,
Welcome to the Forum, your website is a good insight into your work. Very different from most framers I would think. Great that you turn the wood as well as do the framong, so you are in control of the whole process. No supplier or damage in transit problems :D

Hi from another newby, like your memory boxes and interesting that you have come into framing following an education in fine art. Any connection between the two.

Hi Pete and welcome. I used to werk in Liverpool way back in the 80's in a photographic darkroom. I grew up on the Wirral (still have family there) and have fond memories of many a trip to the State nightclub on Dale St  and always missing the last bus/train home through the tunnel :giggle:
