hello from Victoria BC Canada!
hi from Canada, mostly I'll be lurking and reading, but I may have a question or two along the way.
I have been a framer for 25+ years only for 3 shops over that time period. I have changed shops recently and find myself having to do more sport jersey framing,
I have framed a few jerseys, a long time ago, so I need to brush up on things, that's my first thing to search for! plus now I have a Wizard mat cutter, when I had a
Eclipse cutter in the old shop.
I am a married female with a teenage daughter, I love to cook (and eat) do needlework, read and watch t.v.
Thanks for having me!
Pam

Hi Pam,
Welcome to the Framers Forum.
Not sure if you realise, but this is primarily a UK/ Europe forum.
In USA and Canada you also have the GRUMBLE - http://thegrumble.com/forum.php which you might find more suited geographically, as many more posters from your part of the world. Also I think Sports jerseys are a much bigger thing in ASA / Canada
But you are still hugely welcome here.

Welcome Pam.
Nice part of the planet you live on. Do get yourself over to the Grumble as Keith suggests. They might appear to be a bunch of idiots, but they do have a vast knowledge about everything framing related.

Re: hello from Victoria BC Canada!
thanks for the warm welcome. I did not know when I signed up that this was a Brit board. I had been signed up on the grumble but forgot my password, then I tried to re-register but I am stumped by the "random question" so I can not even register. This is the question, What one word describe your framing samples on your wall? C__n_r . You might think the answer is "corner" by the hint they supply but when I enter this they say it is wrong. Anyone think of something else??
Again, thanks for the welcome, I can still get a good read from a lot of the posts, and your slang terms/language crack me up!!

Welcome Pam!
I'll copy and paste your problem on TFG.
I have a friend that lives in Canada - Simon Hunt is his name, don't suppose you know him?

Re: hello from Victoria BC Canada!
Perhaps tha answer is case sensitive in which case Corner, corner and CORNER would all be different.

Re: hello from Victoria BC Canada!
Thanks Roboframer, I recognize your name from the grumble, can you search for me and tell me what my user name s on the grumble? it's pamazon42 I think, but I'm a lot closer to 50 now and I forget. my profile picture is of 3 fishing floats carved into faces. I posted a bit on the grumble. The random question / answer things was SO frustrating!! oh, and your friend in Canada, I thiink I know him, he lives in Toronto right?
Re: hello from Victoria BC Canada!
Your Username is just 'Pamazon' - The Grumble are of the same opinion - that the word is case-sensitive. I put the thread in the members only section so a link would be no good. Have given them the link to this thread though.
