frame virgin!

Post by teamweapon »

hi
my names sean and ive never made a frame in my life.
but i have just bought a pro turner foot under pinner.
so i expect to to be making some soon?
i collect crappy old movie posters [NOT expensive ones i hasten to add!] but would maybe like to try to expand it into a small business at some point as i seem quite good at searching them out.
is there any threads on here i should be looking at for a total newb to framing?
im mostly looking at making bigger frames. namely 30x40" and 4x5' frames. which are going to work out expensive i know.

i can also say im usually rubbish at replying on forums haha.
looking forward to trying to interact with other framers :)

Hi and welcome,

Once bought a job lot of Lobby Cards from the 1950's and 60's, they were a very good bit of stock as I was framing for the hotel/pub decor market. Wish you the best of luck.
