Hello

Post by AndyO »

Hi,

Thought I'd provide a quick intro.
Have been wanting to get into framing for some time now and the oppertunity came up to purchase an ex framers entire workshop equipment including the remains of the stock he has.

The plan for me is to keep my full time job in IT while I remember what I did on a couple of courses that I have been on and gain much needed experience. I hope to suppliment my income and eventually having it as a good source of income in the future.

From a quick look at some of the posts, I see there is some quality discussions going on so think I've come to the right place.

I am keen to have a good grounding on fitting standard products before adding to my skill set with 3D boxes and using reclaimed timber to make one off or sets depending on the material.

If someone here is clearing out old small lengths of off cut in West Sussex, Brighton or Portsmouth area then I would be keen to pick up in order to gain experience with minimal cost.

Looking forward to getting to know you and maybe some of you in person.

Cheers
Andy
