My name is Nadir Sitdikov. I am in framing industry since 1997. Was one of the founders and used to be CEO of Lion art service distribution company in Moscow (associated company Lion PFS, Birmingham) till 2010 end. Since 2012 doing consulting job, and since 2013 - head of the Russian Framer's Guild. Working close to Fatg and other entities, developing Russian framing market, which i know quite well. Registered here to keep track on the news/technologies in the UK framing market.

You must be the only Russian framer on the forum. (unless I am mistaken which I often are..... ).
Would love to see some pictures of the type of work you frame. I used to frame a lot of Russian oils at one time. Had a big one in the shop one day - flamboyantly signed in Cyrillic script. A lady asked it was by a local artist.

Dear Prospero! we in Russia do frame all, you frame in UK, these are oil canvases, watercolours, etching, photographs, and posters. in fact, many distributors in Russia sell posters, made in UK. we did Rosenstiel's, Ariel Press, Bruce McGaw, TAG, and Washington Green)
it is may less 3D framing jobs in the market yet, but will be soon, i am sure, just like tapesties..
