West Yorkshire Newbeeeee !!!

Post by lotteea »

Good Morning
Well im new to the forum as from today, and we have set up a small framing service in Huddersfield West Yorks, I have recently retired from working with the film and television industry, I wondered as a start if there is anyone that can calibrate and service equipment that I have purchased, Keencut and Morso products, these came from a gentleman that has retired from down south.
Any information would be greatly apreciatted
Many thanks

Phone Pete Bingham in Sheffield.
Either go to him, or IMHO much better ask him to come to you and teach you on the equipment you have.

I have visited distributors and framers in 90 countries - no two are the same.

For the attention of all forum members who may have contact with the above. The WYN wanted servicing and calibration of her newly acquired framing equipment - and, having being alerted by the ever ubiquitous KIeth Hewitt, I made arrangements to visit and do the work. The day before the appointment, I did all my preparation and assembled tools, equipment etc and phoned her to get last minute detailed instructions on where to park etc - " Ah, oh, hi, I've been called away - I'm on location - I won't be back for at least two weeks - when I'm back ,I'll give you a ring and fix up another .... completey forgot.... - At which point I hung up. No apologies, no contact to cancel. Not the way you do business in this trade - and certainly a big mistake to do it to me. Thanks for the chance of work Keith. I promise I'll do the same for you sometime......
Pete Bingham.

I would never have done that to you Pete! Some people are just downright rude. Still, her loss.
