Art Business Today magazine
A "well done" to the FATG for producing a right good read with the April edition.

Re: Art Business Today magazine
I thought 'The trouble with Morso is.....' article by Mike Bond was excellent. I'd recommend every framer with a guillotine type moulding cutter to read it as it covers maintenance as well as problem solving.

Hope it is better than the last issue which I flicked through, put aside and did not re-open!

I would agree about the Morso article, a definite must read, so that gives us something to do over the Easter weekend

It would be lovely to read it but we are still waiting for our copy
I'll just have to read my PFM whilst I'm waiting.

Re: Art Business Today magazine
In the letters section there's a letter from Pete Bingham referring to a letter from the last issue which referred to an article in the one before that.

Re: Art Business Today magazine
I was surprised to read about lubricating the outside faces of the blades as a method of reducing chipping at the outside edges of the cut mitre, so I tried it and it works!
It's not even something that would ever have occurred to me, but it's well worth knowing!

I have not read this article, what is suggested for lubrication of the blades? This is something I tried years ago, whilst I found some successes in reducing chipping , I found that the glue was weaker bonded to the silicon coated wood.

It seems that there's always a "catch" somewhere, with everything which seemed like a good idea at the time. Oh, well!
