Just had a look at Kool Tack dry mount products, Interesting that you only need 65 degrees in the Hotpress to activate. I always used the Hotpress for OS maps until they changed ther printing process. Any thoughts re. using this product on OS maps now lower temp. requires.

I've used a similar product (Artcare Restore from Neilsen) on OS maps for a few years now. It's a good solution as the OS map paper is so thin. Artcare restore works at 70 degrees and you only need to have it in the press for 90 seconds or so. I would check your silicone sheet after drymounting an OS map, as you do sometimes get a few small specks coming off the map - so it's not conservation framing - but then again the map is easily replaceable.
