I found these used as packing inside a frame today, At least I know when the item was first framed, 1974.

I found one with the property section of the Times in. 1926. Home counties country estate up for grabs.
Huge house. 3000 acres farmland including river and woodland. Fishing shooting rights. Also inc the local
village. :D

£36,000. Yes thirty-six thousand. :shock:

Same paper. Domestic servants wanted. Live in housemaids. £28 per anum. :|

I had the local press here last week - I found an old photograph of a horse and owner from the 1890s inside an old mirror that someone brought in for repair. I managed to track down the great grandson of the man in the photo, and with the permission of the "new" owner, it was returned to the rightful owners.

Alan, when I first saw the photo with small screw eyes and triangular points I thought OMG one of mine :!: :oops: I then remembered I'm not a Guardian reader, whew sigh of relieve :sweating:
