It's not just moulding. I use a lot of these....

The last lot I had from Lion tend to break when fitted. Obviously a dodgy batch. Trouble is, they don't do
it when you fit them. They wait a while and then go ping. Know way of telling. :|

Yesterday I got some from a different source in the hope that a different batch would be OK. They do exactly the
same so it looks like there is no way I can use this particular clip. I've been using them for years and must have got though
1000s with no issues. I haven't got time to faff about testing each individual one. But I can't just slap them on a frame and
hope for the best. What was a very handy thing is now not viable.

Just another example of declining standards.

Had a long meeting with Lion rep yesterday and brought up the damage situation, they are very much aware of it and very committed to try and resolve it as it is also costing them a lot of money.
It would appear that one of the main problems is there are only a couple of couriers that will transport and deliver 3M lengths.
I am as stated before going to give their chop a good trial as for me I feel this is the way to go and just Morso the basic stuff I stock.

I've used Lion's chop service on a number of occasions and have been very happy each time.
