Just a hint for touching up corners

Post by boscawen46 »

If there is necessity to touch up the corners of frames normal decorators caulk mixed with a tiny bit of watercolour makes a perfect substitute for expensive fillers. It mixes well ,fills and then wipes off a treat.
It's dirt cheap and strong when dry .

Oil pastels work great too! Just heat up a small bit of the right colour of oil pastel and put some melted oil patel into the gaps you want to fill. As it cools it also hardens and can be buffed up after it has cooled to room temperature. I only use the oil pastel when I cannot use my normal stock of nail hole filers, because they are less fiddling around.
