Just dropping by to say hello...

Post by David McCormack »

I hope all you lovely framers are well and happy :D Long time no see!

I know it has been a difficult 2020 but we are heading towards better times and I'm off to get my first jab next week :sweating:

2020 has been a year of photography for me and no framing! I've been selling my work as prints but now I'm looking towards framing again so I can sell framed prints and today pulled the dust cover of my Morso.....

So I might be showing up here a bit more often as I get back into my framing rhythm and try to remember the Morso dance... :ninja:

Hi David,

It's really nice to know that you are going to be back again. You have often been a really helpful and interesting contributor on this form. I would guess that a lot of us have missed your presence on the forum. Welcome back!

Thanks for the welcome back folks :D

I'll contribute when I can but I am a bit rusty (also found a few rust spots on my Torso when I uncovered it recently but nothing a bit of vigorous rubbing won't sort out  ) and most of my framing now will be off white mounts and simple oak or walnut frames... not much change there then! :Slap:

Can you spot the spellcheck correction :giggle:

I had already applied some neutral paste wax to my Morso, but although it has not been used as much in the last 2 and a bit years since my stroke, the wax has prevented and rust spots from developing. Perhaps a useful tip for others if interested.
