Poster Flattening

Post by fitz »

I’m probably last to the party again but I thought I would share a great way I discovered on YouTube to safely reverse roll posters to flatten them out prior to hinging. I used this to great effect recently with a series of Metallica posters that were quite valuable apparently and the customer did not want them to be mounted onto a substrate.

I should have explained that it is simply an empty tube with strong paper taped to it. You place the poster onto the paper and start to roll. You can leave it for as long as you need to flatten it out.
