It's probably not made anymore, because those who have got these trimmers can operate adequately without them and have either found out how to get accurate results with this cutting length attachment, have made their own cutting length attachment, bought one of the cutting length measuring systems from Lion.

As you probably already will know, there are rebate supports on normal mitre guillotines, such as the Morso. However, my understanding is that mitre trimmers, such as the Axminster mitre trimmer do not have rebate supports and this may be problematic, when cutting some picture framing mouldings. Ihave never used one of these mitre trimmers, but there will be those on this forum who have.

May I suggest asking members of this forum, who have used one of these trimmers, how they managed without this cutting length attachment and if the results were satisfactory. You might find a better and perhaps easier solution to this issue, than you were expecting.

Would the one from diyframing work? It wouldn't surprise me if the axminster one is the same machine, it looks similar

Rutlands also sell a similar mitre trimmer. They call their's the Dekota mitre trimmer, the might all be exactly the same thing and from the same manufacturer, but there's always the chance that they are not and the cutting length attachment from DIY Framing might not be fully compatible with the Axminster mitre trimmer. It might be a chance you take, if you buy it. It also might be the only possibility and it's probably taking a risk buying it.

Now sorted what I needed. The attachment from diyframing fits perfectly and is a very well made piece of kit. Thanks BeatnikFraming for the suggestion.
