Looking for a print for a customer

Post by cleeve_prints »

This is a long shot but I am looking for a military print for a customer and have as yet not been able to locate one. The details are as follows:

Royal Irish Ranger Tercentenary Print published in 1989. The print has Enniskillen Castle in the background with An Irish Ranger soldier kneeling in the foreground there may also be a 17 century soldier to the left of the castle dressed in grey uniform. Unfortunately the customer does not know who the artist was.

The only place I have found who had print at one time was the Royal Irish Rangers museum in Belfast but they have not had it in stock for some time.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Steve

If you can find the wherabouts and phone no of the RIR, ask for their "P.R.I." shop.

Most regiments have a website/forum. Look for the ist Battalion.

Thanks everyone for there help. I have spoken to the RIR museum shop in Belfast and they do not have this particular print in stock anymore.

Dermot, unfortunately I don't think this is the print. From the description from my customer and from the curator at the RIR museum it only shows two figures and the castle in the background. I do like the picture you found though. :D
