Dark Wood Mount Slip - Ideas Anyone?

Post by Jo »

Hello!
I frame for a photographer who likes to have mountslips on all her work, but we are struggling to find one to match a dark wood frame from Arqadia that she uses. Has anyone seen anything like that, and if so, where was it from?!!
Thank you!

Hi Jo
Can you get the code number of the moulding please as there are many 'dark wood' type mouldings.

With out locol photographers we do very well with grey/black core ARQ 7664 and 7666 for both colour and especially B/W prints.

Pretty sure Simons do an unfinished slip or two, if not Rose & Hollis will.

Just stain it to match!

Yes, I thought that would be the obvious thing to do, but several stains later neither I nor my customer can get a good match!
