Help with finding a moulding.

Post by Artman »

Hi

I've been asked to try and match a frame, but for the life of me I can't find the moulding anywhere.

if anybody knows what moulding this is and where I can order it, that would be really great.

Thanks

Hi Matt,
It looks a little bit like the acid finish mouldings that Byron used to do.

Found a link, the website still has the Byron name, so I guess they are still selling :?

405/397 at bottom centre. 15mm wide looks pretty close.

Richard your a bloody star.

I thought it might be an Acid finish, but couldn't remember who did them.

My god Byron that's a name from the past, didn't think they were around any more, their phone number is dead so maybe not.

Thanks again.

I now remember that much of the moulding stock was taken on by a forum member, GL@Profile

Profile Mouldings Ltd
Here is a topic about it: http://theframersforum.com/viewtopic.ph ... 104#p19104

Hope you track some down! :D

Byron was Peter and Ann White
They closed years ago and bought a catamaran and are sailing round the Med.

Thanks both
I remember Byron closing as I just started up on my own and was getting the Corri-Cor from them, couldn't remember why though so thanks.

I think I'll be giving this search up as a lost cause, but thanks for all your help and a bit of a trip down memory lane.

Really gotta hang out a bit more on hear.
