Hello everyone, here's a bit about myself...
I've been framing pictures for a number of years, but up to now, just for people I know. But I really enjoy doing it so I've decided to step up a notch and promote my service to the public - eeek! I'm only doing it in a small way, using hand tools, and that's the way I want it to stay, partly because it's the process of creating something by hand that I enjoy and partly because by profession I'm a website designer so I doubt if I'll ever do enough picture framing work to make commercial equipment economically viable. But although I'm only doing relatively small, simple work, I still want to do it to a professional standard.
I've had good training on a few courses and I've studied a couple of Pete Bingham's books, but I know that you can't beat experience. I'll be very grateful if the experienced picture framers here would give me the benefit of your advice from time time. I'm afraid I'll be a taker rather than a giver at first, but perhaps as I get more experienced, I'll be able to contribute more. Hope so anyway

Hi Rainbow and welcome. Don't forget that the search facility on here can be a great first point of call if you get stuck on something, quite often someone else has asked the question before and you can read through all the different opinions in the answers they got . But don't be afraid to get stuck in with your own views on things!
