Best coarse brushes I find are the grass brushes, you can get these from John Mylands in London. Here's their number 0208 761 5700. They are available in 1" and 2" widths and not too expensive. They do last well too if looked after. :)

Hi SPF,

Thank you for your suggestion, I will look into that.

I must appogise for not replying earlier. I been having various hospital appointments over the last few weeks and my mind has been on other things.
