morso blades are too small?

Hi guys,

how do i tell if the morso blades are too small? i just got a used morso with three sets of blade and i got two of set freshly sharpened and they seem really short in comprassion to the ones on the morso

If the blades work..... use them. Test them on some scrap moulding before trying on the good stuff.
Every time you sharpen them, approximately .3mm of material is removed.

these would be near 5cm shorter than the one i tuck off the morso.

not fully sure that they are working well as its draging on the left cut. the left hand side of the cut is messing up the mouldings outer edge. This could be the wood of the frame as its really soft. they also don't align at the top one is taller than the other.

5cm shorter than the original blades...........

That is very short. They sound like scrap metal. Time to buy a full size set of blades.

5cm on the height? their isn't 5cm of blade on them. Is the braize line still showing? Sounds to me like you have got someone elses blades.

i never measured the blades before sending them off, but they are the same ones that i sent (marker marks). Ill need to check again the difference in lenght but its deffinatly well-well over 3cm in the difference.

If they are not cutting well, junk them. A new set isn't cheap, but you don't get a heck of a lot of good moulding for the same price. :?
