10mm Acid Free Glass Suppliers in the UK

Post by Bagel Framer »

Firstly, thanks to all the contributors in my recent Papyrus posting - the tips etc have been very helpful.

Going back to the glass, does anyone know of any suppliers of glass in the UK I could approach for prices?

I'd be looking for 10mm thick glass, with FEP polished edges and it needs to be acid free.

Thanks!

Sean

Ooops - sorry, I saw 'acid free' in Bill Henry's post on his papyrus posting but didn't see the wink next to it, oh well..

As you were then - if any UK suppliers of 10mm thick polished edge glass are known for this papyrus job then I'd be grateful, I'll look on the web too.

Thanks!

Your local half decent glazier will likely be able to do it, and supply 10mm glass, many window fitters and glaziers have bevelling/polishing gear.

Yep, couple of phone calls should be all you need.

I'm mainly posting to say don't forget pics of the project, and please post so we can see what you come up with.
Regards,
Les
