I had the local press here last week - I found an old photograph of a horse and owner from the 1890s inside an old mirror that someone brought in for repair. I managed to track down the great grandson of the man in the photo, and with the permission of the "new" owner, it was returned to the rightful owners.

Alan, when I first saw the photo with small screw eyes and triangular points I thought OMG one of mine I then remembered I'm not a Guardian reader, whew sigh of relieve
