Cheers Peter,David my old framer friend was a master at his art but unfortunately he had a major stroke and lost his right side and speech but this didn't stop him he bought a special 3 wheeled bike and would ride for hours, before his stroke he would ride 60-or so miles a day but he was taken by cancer in the end.i have all his framing gear now ànd hopefully one day I will be half as good as he was...

Hello Dean,
Very nice to have you aboard. Hopefully you won't be feeling that much of a newbie too long. A lot of the people who are offering answers to problems on this forum were newbies not that long ago. New framers learn fast on this forum. Don't be afraid to ask, we've got lots of helpful friendly members who are only too pleased to help. Enjoy!

Hi Dean and welcome
I am also only about five months in to framing but have learnt so much from this forum. I sometimes probably ask ridiculous questions on here and they probably sigh and think not that again! but I normally get a friendly answer or pointed to a link of where it has been extensively answered before.
