Sorry, should have said....
The squares must connect edge to edge with matching vertices. No rotational variations.

Assuming the following:
- No reflective mappings
- No rotational mappings
- Squares must be connected along the edges, with vertices in alignment on joined sides (i.e. can't make a shape by joining square A half way along edge of square B, etc)
- Duplicates by "shuffling" square 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 are not permitted
I can make 8 basic configurations of the five squares, given above assumptions. Wanna pic?

OK got it.
Tick V.G.
Now the slightly more tricky part.
Fit all the shapes into a grid, size 6 squares x 10squares.
Now's the time to use up all those mountboard offcuts...
btw. there are 2339 different solutions.
btw2. You are allowed to flip the pieces over

For all the umpty-nine solutions, I'd settle for one. Best attempt so far leaves one square outside the grid. Grrrrrrrr .....
Edited to add:
You've wrecked my head again, Prospero!
