New Member from the new forest
Hi everyone
I have been framing for a few months now and just found this forum.I have brought a EH Morso, an underpinner and Keencut Mounboard cutter.
Does anyone know of a good place to get my Morso blades sharpened.
Kind regards

Lion or Mainline Mouldings have done mine in the past.

Hello and welcome
As you are based in the New Forest, then Wessex Bournemouth branch will be your closest option - but they do also offer a van delivery service.

Lion no longer offer a blade sharpening service. Mainline Mouldings do ours and they collect them and deliver them back via Royal Mail - all arranged online.

Re: New Member from the new forest
I've no idea why Lion stopped sharpening Morso blades, they were great. As time has gone by I have developed my own way of sharpening them myself. Originally it was just doing it as a short term thing to just make do, with no intention of it being any more that that, but I now can do a proper hollow ground sharpening job to a fully professional level and the finished blades perform very well and keep their edge for a really long time as well. If Lion were still sharpening Morso blades I would happily use them again, but sadly they are not!

If you deal with Wessex and get van deliveries, then that's your best option. They'll pick them up/return them in their own van.
Otherwise you have to pack them up and go to the PO. They aren't light items.
