Plaque engraving

Looking to bring in house the option of engraved plaques. Currently outsourced but leads to a 2 week delay on items being done roughly.

Anybody recommend a small machine? This will be an additional option for me to offer customers, not something industrial that will churn out plaques all day so doesn't need to be a large machine. I'm looking for something that will do the job needed so not really 'hobby' level of equipment.

Roland seems to be a good brand name? Anything else to look at?

What do you use the brass plaques for?

Primarily we would use brass plaques for sporting type stuff

If in the mount, text on paper looks better is dead easy and gives more scope IMO

Text on paper is an option, but for many people they prefer the look of an engraved plaque. Neither is wrong or right. Just personal preference.

Absolutely - plus some like these plaques on the frame itself.

Yeah it's sporting memorabilia for us mainly, we do the odd printed plaque but definitely a preference for engraved from customers.
